Since 1975, Cristina Pora Balaceanu Classical Dance Academy has been focused on excellence with an emphasis on fundamentals in technique and artistry. Our non-competitive model allows our dancers to focus on their strengths, take pride in their accomplishments and establish a joy for movement.
We pride ourselves in developing excellence and artistry in dance education, equipping our students with a solid foundation in technique and a joy of movement. We welcome dancers from any age and experience! Whether it is sharing our love for dance or igniting the professional spirit for a future in performing arts, our Academy provides its students with the opportunity to study Classical Ballet in the Russian/ Vaganova base method. The Russian / Vaganova Based Method
The Russian/ Vaganova system follows a progression of carefully balanced and graded steps which gives the dancer a solid grounding in leg technique combined with well trained and expressive upper part of the body.
With ballet classes led by internationally renowned and highly sought after teachers from the ballet community, our ballet program caters to the recreational and the serious dancer who wish to have a professional career.
